It's nearly Christmas!!

Are you excited? 

What's the best part of Christmas for you?

I bet quite a few kids would say "getting presents". 

But would it be fun to open presents on your own, without your parents there?

Of course not. Well - not so much fun anyway!

One of the reasons Christmas feels so special is that people give to each other. Not just presents. They send loving greetings on Christmas cards, they arrange to meet up as families - often with people they haven't seen since last Christmas.  And families spend time with each other.

This time of giving is all about remembering that God gave us a real sign that we are all part of His family. The Bible tells us he has ADOPTED us into his family. The coming of Jesus as a human baby, into a family, is a sign for you and for me that God wanted not only to give us a special gift of his son - but to show us that he is father to us all, and cares for us as Jesus' human family cared for him. It's awesome.

We hope you get a great present this Christmas - but that you also feel that Christmas glow knowing God's special love for you come down to earth at Christmas in Jesus Christ.
