Wow I'm a dad

Research carried out by the Church of England in 2008 showed that an overwhelming number of dads - 88% - felt that they were responsible for the spiritual care of their child. More dads than mums in fact.

Dads clearly want to accept a responsibility not only for the physical and financial well-being of their child, but also for their spiritual well-being.

That may sound somewhat overwhelming. Being a parent can sometimes seem overwhelming! But your child will value and be nurtured by simple things, such as pausing to appreciate God's creation, or sharing a simple bedtime prayer.
